If you’ve never had it before, this “pudding” recipe is a must-try: It only has a couple of basic ingredients, it’s chock-full of protein, and it’s yummy. It’s the perfect snack anytime you need a quick pick-me-up, or a delicious guilt-free dessert! Go ahead and double it for a slightly bigger snack, or a breakfast that will keep you going through the morning.
Here’s what you need:
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 teaspoon cocoa powder (I use 1/2 milk and 1/2 dark)
1/2 packet Stevia (or sugar or other sweetener)
Optional: Splash of coffee syrup (regular or sugar free)
Optional: Sliced banana
Here’s what you do:
Mix together the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, stevia/sweetener, and coffee syrup, if using. Top with banana slices, or stir them in for some chocolate-covered banana goodness!
Mmmm–try this today! Hope you love it.
Question: I think I eat cottage cheese about a million different ways. What’s you favorite way to have it?
Keep in touch, and keep it real!

Sounds good and healthy, I love it when I can find both in a sweet recipe that can go as dessert!
Thank you! It’s one of my favorites. I’m happy I decided to make it again this morning; I just tend to get into routines sometimes and forget about other things!
That pudding is great because there are so many fun things you can add to it!
Absolutely! I was thinking about raisins this morning, but figured most of my readers aren’t QUITE as in love with them as I am.
Fiber one would also be great in it, especially if you let the cereal sit and soften for awhile.
I’m totally with you on the raisins. Also chai seeds, flaxseeds, & macs would be great to add some more vitamins and nutrients
Good ideas! I need to go to the grocery store
Mmm sounds like a great, flavorful and healthy treat! Thanks for the idea
You’re so very welcome Tessa! Hope you like it!

Lol, awesomeness is a great word to describe it–thank you Dear!!
that sounds amazing! i like cottage cheese with peanut flour and strawberries. or whipped into oatmeal with berries.
I love cottage cheese in oatmeal too–so creamy and delicious! I have yet to try peanut flour, but I want to–that sounds so good!
I am sorry to say that I am not a cottage cheese fan! I make a similar concoction though using plain greek yogurt and cocoa powder though.
Have a wonderful evening!
That sounds delicious! I don’t think I could live without cottage cheese…okay so maybe that’s an exaggeration, but my food world would be a much more boring place
oh gosh! only 3 ingredients? Is that all? That’s awesome!! I actually am not too creative with cottage cheese! I can only think of cheesecake!
Cottage cheese and oatmeal are probably my two favorite foods, because you can do literally ANYTHING with them! Stick around my blog and you’ll probably see plenty of recipes using them lol!!
